We know that many individuals and families have felt the stress of uncertainty as communities and organizations across the country work together to contain the spread of COVID-19.
We have seen a lot of changes and have had to adapt to unusual circumstances.
Together with your ETFO Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT), OTIP has compiled information to help connect you to the information and support you need, when you need it. Whether it is access to mental health services for you or your family, or tools on how to speak with your children or students about COVID-19, we are here to support you.

It’s important to note that digital mental health resources are now widely available. With fewer barriers to access, digital tools like Beacon have demonstrated their value by helping people cope with topics such as: difficulties with social isolation and worries about financial insecurity.
The Canadian Mental Health Association also has several online resources to address anxiety and support mental health concerns during the COVID-19 outbreak.
To further support your mental health throughout the school year, check out OTIP’s Caring for your mental well-being digital campaign for access to mental health related articles and expert contributions.
