It’s important to note that digital mental health resources are now widely available. With fewer barriers to access, digital tools like Beacon have demonstrated their value by helping people cope with topics such as: difficulties with social isolation and worries about financial insecurity.

The Canadian Mental Health Association also has several online resources to address anxiety and support mental health concerns during the COVID-19 outbreak.

As a member of the ETFO ELHT, you have the following paramedical coverage related to mental health and well-being support:

Mental Health Practitioners* $1,500/benefit year combined

*Mental Health Practitioners include Clinical Counsellors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Social Workers only.
