The ETFO ELHT Benefits Plan renews effective September 1 of each year. September 1, 2023 is the fifth renewal of our benefits plan.  A renewal notice was emailed to plan members on May 30, 2023. Information includes:

  • ETFO ELHT 2023-2024 Teacher/LTO and Education Worker Benefits Plan Renewals
  • Administrative Plan/Practice Changes to the ETFO ELHT Benefits Plan – Effective June 1, 2023
  • Teacher/LTO and Education Worker Benefits Contingency Plan Update
  • ETFO ELHT Annual Plan Member Meeting – September 27, 2023 @ 4:30 p.m. EST

ETFO Employee Life and Health Trust

The ELHT was established in accordance with the provisions of the ETFO Central Agreements for Teachers/Occasional Teachers and DECEs/ESPs/PSPs.

The ETFO ELHT is a governing body with trustees from ETFO, the government, and the Ontario Public School Board Association (OPSBA). The trustees are responsible for administering the plan and the funding as a result of the latest collective bargaining.
