Starting on September 1, 2018, the services provided by registered psychotherapists will be included under the counselling benefit of the ETFO ELHT Benefits Plan for eligible members.

Eligible claims for registered psychotherapists incurred on or after September 1, 2018 will be 100% covered under the plan, up to $1,500 per benefit year, combined with services provided by a psychologist, marriage and family therapist and social worker.

All psychotherapists must be licensed and registered in the province of coverage.

All claims are subject to reasonable and customary limits.
